As the main sponsors of the Stratford Food Festival last weekend, we were delighted to take part in such a wonderful event organised by Stratforward, culminating in our Exclusive Charity Dinner where we raised over £2,500 for the Shakespeare Hospice. Celebrity chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli was our guest for the evening and entertained us all with his stories, even offering to do the washing up....but more of that later.

Traditional half-timbered buildings and a wide variety of shops and restaurants line the pavements....so it's no great surprise that more than twelve years ago, a business man from Cheshire called John Lea and regular weekend visitor to Stratford-Upon-Avon fell in love with one particular property on Sheep Street - a dress shop called Loxleys. His vision for a wonderful family-owned, quality restaurant and wine bar was born. John approached the owner of the dress shop, Kay Ball, and after keeping in touch with her for a number of years, she decided to sell the property to him in 2012 after 52 years trading on Sheep Street.
